Who reset the calendar?

33 years BC, Jesus Christ was born. Is this an oxymoron? Read on...

Why is today the year 2010? 2010 years ago was when “Someone” reset the calendar. Is it a coincidence that it was the son of God? There are no coincidences with God. As a matter of fact, you will not even find the word coincidence in ANY bible translation. We are all sons of God, but I am specifically talking about “the” son of God, the Messiah, Yeshua, or as we better know him, Jesus Christ. The one that died at the age of 33 and was born in the year 33 BC. Need we say more? If you really think about it, what person with great power is able to just say, “Hey, this is day 1, start counting the days as of today!”

In theory, we could only imagine that this is how it happened, even though the son of God never actually gave the command to start the new day in that manner. It just happened based on his existence.

In reality, what happened is that the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, (Revelations 19:16) died and rose from the dead. Jesus Christ was beaten & pierced, he died as a result of it, on the third day he ascended into  heaven (Luke 24:45:47). This is the day that the lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! (Psalm 118:24)
